Si queremos restringir las aplicaciones que pueden ejecutar los usuarios en Windows XP. Para hacerlo hacemos click con el botón izquierdo del ratón en "Inicio", "Ejecutar", Regedit. "HKEY_CURRENT_USER", "Software", "Microsoft", "Windows", "CurrentVersion", "Policies", "Explorer"
Allí crearemos o modificaremos el valor DWORD RestricRun con el valor "1" para activar la restricción, y con el valor "0" para
desactivarla.

Una vez realizado este paso, tenemos que decidir que aplicaciones están restringidas y cuales no, y lo haremos accediendo a la clave del registro:

"HKEY_CURRENT_USER", "Software", "Microsoft", "Windows", "CurrentVersion", "Policies", "Explorer", "RestricRun"
Allí introduciremos valores alfanuméricos cuyo nombre serán números consecutivos y como contenido tendrán los nombres de los ejecutables de cada aplicación.
